Cocoa producing municipalities hold first meeting in Sucre to evaluate proposals from the sector

Cocoa producing communes from 6 states of the country held the first working meeting, in the Tierra del Cacao Commune in Pueblo Nuevo, Arismendi municipality in the state of Sucre.
The meeting was attended by 75 producing communes that were part of the National Meeting of the Community Plan for Cocoa, where they made a diagnosis, evaluation and analysis of the production of this category in small and medium-sized producers.
The Sucre state has historically been one of the country's largest cacao producers, with a vast and profitable culture for study throughout Venezuela
During the meeting, they addressed the lines of impetus of communal banks, as part of the guidelines of the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, among which are:
Line 1: Organization.
Line 2: Training, scientific research and technological innovation.
Line 3: Production, commercialization and industry.
Line 4: Social and inter-institutional management.
With these meetings, it is planned to link more than two thousand cocoa producers to present in Caracas all formal proposals as part of the agricultural sector.
