Last Saturday, a leader of the Clan del Golfo drug cartel in charge of a block that operates in northwestern Colombia, and five other members of that illegal organization were dismissed, as reported by the president of New Granada, Gustavo Petro.

“As part of a police intelligence and criminal investigation operation, Oliverio Isaza Gómez, alias' Terror ', leader of the Magdalena Medio structure of the AGC (GAO Clan del Golfo), was killed,” the president wrote in his account on the social network X.

He also stressed: “I feel that the son of a paramilitary who made peace is once again in arms and has died under them, supported by the landowners of the region. Already, the new armed para-terrier group had killed several members of the region's historic pact.”

He also reported that the operation was carried out today 22/02/2025, in the rural area of San Luis (Ant), where 5 more criminals also died.

“This is a highly significant result, he is a criminal who had a criminal record of more than 35 years* and a large criminal record, son of Ramón Isaza, associated mainly with drug trafficking,” he said and stressed that “Colombia's path is peace and life. The drug dealer only brings dead children.”
