Colombia: President Petro reiterates complaint about assassination plans

Colombian President Gustavo Petro has once again denounced alleged assassination plans, following the discovery of weapons in downtown Bogotá, which, according to the authorities of the Colombian capital, it was obsolete and belonged to a former military man who threw it away.
The Colombian president through the social network X after several Colombian media reported that two rocket launchers were found last February near Casa de Nariño, the presidential palace.
He also questioned the version over the weekend, which determined that the weapons were not functional and had been discarded by a woman with a relative in the Military Forces: “I don't know the purpose of the tank destroyers and the police versions don't convince me,” Petro said.
