Iván Cepeda, a left-wing Colombian senator, remains at the forefront of the intention to vote for the presidential elections of May 31, details a survey published in the New Granada nation.

The survey, carried out by the Spanish company GAD3 for the Noticias RCN channel, the newspaper La República and the radio station La FM, reveals that Cepeda, from the Historical Pact, Gustavo Petro's party, has a voting intention of 35%, a percentage point higher than in a similar poll conducted last February by that company.

In second place, with 21%, five percentage points lower than in February, is Abelardo de la Espriella, of the Defenders of the Fatherland movement.

In third place, there is something new, since Paloma Valencia is in it, with a 16% intention to vote, which corresponds to an increase from the 4 percent she had in February.

These data are the result of the survey conducted between March 16 and 18, just after the legislative elections and the debates between parties to select presidential candidates, in those elections, Paloma Valencia was the most voted candidate on the right.

Claudia López (4%) and Sergio Fajardo (3%) rank fourth and fifth, respectively, both in the center, with a slight variation compared to the previous GAD3 survey. The other presidential candidates, out of a total of 14 registered, get 1% less.
