Colombia sends a new batch of humanitarian aid to victims of the double earthquake in Venezuela

This Thursday, August 6, the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation, through its social networks, reported that a shipment consisting of 13 tons of humanitarian aid arrived in the country from Bogotá, Colombia, at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía.

The cargo was received at the country's main air terminal as part of the operations being carried out to strengthen connectivity and exchange between Venezuela and other nations in the region, according to the ministerial portfolio through its digital channels.

Minister Francisco Garcés said that this new arrival contributes to the promotion of logistics activities and to the strengthening of the national aeronautical sector. He also highlighted that the actions taken seek to consolidate the operation of Simon Bolivar International Airport as one of the country's main entry and exit points.
