Colombian Movement congratulates Maduro on his birthday and defense of sovereignty

The Colombian Movement of Solidarity with the Peoples and Governments of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA), through a statement, extended its congratulations to the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, for his closeness to the Venezuelan people and his role in defending the principles of sovereignty and self-determination.

The text emphasized that the struggle for national autonomy and for the dignity of peoples constitutes a central axis in the face of external pressures. The statement highlighted that these actions have allowed resistance to attempts at interference and aggression by political models based on supremacism and fascism to remain firm.

The statement also noted that the head of state is considered a reference in times of adversity, calling for peace and the unity of the revolutionary sectors where he has built a political system that prioritizes fundamental rights and coexistence between nations.

Finally, the Colombian Movement of Solidarity with Peoples and Governments of ALBA reaffirmed its support for regional integration processes and the vision of a multipolar world, with President Maduro concluding that it symbolizes the continuity of a struggle that seeks to open paths of freedom and justice for nations that are committed to independence and cooperation.
