Commitment, discipline, solidarity and love will be the protagonists of the III East 2024 Paranational Games

On the afternoon of this Sunday, December 1st, the III Paranational Games 2024 opened from Maturín in the state of Monagas. This is the highest event in the Venezuelan para-sport, which this time will have 1,858 athletes who will compete in more than 10 disciplines.

The Vice President of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, declared the III East 2024 Paranational Games inaugurated, thus kicking off the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic cycle.

“In the name of President Nicolás Maduro, I declare the III Paranational Games inaugurated,” he exclaimed from the Yulimar Rojas National Athletics Center, located in the city of Maturín in the state of Monagas.

“It is truly a great honor to be present at the Sultana del Guarapiche, here in Maturín, accompanying you guys to continue the sports festival of the National Games, this is part of the Olympic cycle heading to Los Angeles 2028 where I am sure you will be representing Venezuela. Not only do you have the attitude, but you have a superior willpower; you are a source of pride for the Fatherland, for the whole country.”

With these words, the Vice President of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, praised the capacity, will and spirit of the more than 1,800 parathletes who will participate in the III East 2024 Paranational Games.
