Communities in the country that want the “My High School Safe Zone” program to visit them can communicate through the Instagram account @Dpdprevención so that the body responsible for it can contact them and make the necessary arrangements, reported Lusmialit Perdomo, general director of crime prevention of the Ministry for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.
During his participation in the 19th edition of the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña, he highlighted the importance of coordination so that, in addition to the recreational activities carried out by this program, the installation of peace tables is achieved and this remains in the community with high schools and/or schools.
In addition, Perdomo highlighted the importance of communication and dialogue within the family unit to prevent the participation of younger people in criminal acts or drug use.
“Talk to your children, to your nephews, because you are their first reference. They need the permanent message, we can't leave that in the hands of any social network,” he said.
