Compañía Nacional de Teatro brings news for 2025

More than 100 artists from Caracas, Guanare and Barinas venues, the National Theater Company (CNT) kicked off activities for 2025 with the premiere of seven theatrical productions, two festivals and permanent activities in its halls at the Alberto de Paz and Mateos Theater and the San Martín Theater.

Carlos Arroyo announced at the traditional cast meeting that he formally began activities at his artistic headquarters, the Alberto de Paz y Mateos Theater. Arroyo indicated that the CNT will bring to life Román Chalbaud's “The Burning of Judas”, scheduled for release in March. It will be directed by Rufino Dorta and will feature the performance of the stable cast.

A press release from the CNT explained that this year the public will be able to enjoy one of Isaac Chocrón's pieces by director Miguel Issa, and as if that weren't enough, among the remontages that can be seen this year is the successful work “Profundo” by José Ignacio Cabrujas, directed by Francisco Denis, for the month of May.

In this way, theatres will be able to enjoy three plays of the Holy Trinity of Venezuelan theater: Chocrón, Cabrujas and Chalbaud.
