With peace and family unity as flags, Carnival 2026 activities began in the Cristóbal Rojas municipality of the Valles del Tuy de Miranda.

Color, costumes, music and traditions accompanied the tour of the main avenues of Charallave, which was led by Mayor Yuhismar Hernández, who asked attendees to celebrate these festivities with their families.

Hernández highlighted that during these festivities there will be fun for children, adolescents and adults; as well as activities with recreational people in communes throughout the jurisdiction. “We will have activities for the youngest members of the house filled with joy, peace and security. All together we are going to recreate ourselves, as is our right,” he said.

For the Carnivals for Peace 2026, the national government had a security plan to protect its own and visitors, checkpoints and more than 9,000 recreational people across the country.
