Comprehensive care days benefited more than 1,300 grandparents in Aragua and Barinas

In addition, according to a press release, through house-to-house visits and the community pharmacy, 6,886 units of medication were delivered. The beneficiaries also tasted soups and received haircuts.
In the state of Aragua, medical care was successfully provided in the La Montaña sector, at the Víctor Ángel Hernández National Educational Unit in the Santiago Mariño municipality.
In this approach, 162 adults and older adults were favored with 418 medical care. Consultations included Geriatrics, General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Podiatry, Traumatology, Cardiovascular, Otorhinolaryngology, Gastroenterology, Physiatry, Diabetology, Ophthalmology, Family Planning and care for people with disabilities.
Attendees also received dental care, educational talks, deworming, vaccination, contraceptive methods, and diabetes and hypertension research. During the operation, 20,900 units and more than 2,000 free medicines were distributed, adding a total of 3,536 comprehensive benefits to older adults.
