Comprehensive maintenance in electrical substations benefits more than 89,000 residents of Tachirense

As part of the actions aimed at strengthening the electrical system, crews from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out comprehensive maintenance work at the IAN and Rubio substations, benefiting more than 89,000 Tachirense users.

During the work, the CORPOELEC staff carried out current measurements and tests, optimizing the operation of the Santa Ana, Delicias and Lyophilizer circuits, as well as the installation of new anchors near the substations, adaptation of 40 hot spots taken with the thermographic camera and the prior injection of current to the circuit breakers and reconnectors.

It is important to note that, according to a press release from CORPOELEC, technical maintenance guarantees the operability and proper functioning of the power equipment that supplies the communities El Chícharo, Cerro Camacho, Cruz de La Misión, La Campiña, El Bosque, El Avión, Vega de La Pipa, La Fortuna, Las Cruces, La Sabana, El Suspiro, Los Cristales, El Pórtico, La Playa, Los Pinos, La Canoa, La Colina, La Redoma, La Ovejera, La Zona, El Ferechal in municipalities Americano and Junín, respectively.
