The Ríos Reyna room of the Teresa Carreño Theater was filled this weekend with the concert “A Song for Cuba”, a cultural day that brought together Venezuelan artists in solidarity with the Cuban people.

The activity, organized by the Simón Bolívar Cultural Brigade, included the participation of groups and soloists who interpreted genres such as Nueva Trova, son and traditional Venezuelan music, in a show of brotherhood between the two peoples.

The event was also part of the “Love with love pays” campaign, aimed at collecting medicines and supplies, as well as promoting projects such as the installation of solar panels on the island.

Representatives of cultural organizations highlighted the supportive nature of the concert and the support of social movements in Venezuela and other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The day closed with messages of unity and support, in an environment marked by music, popular participation and expressions of commitment to Cuba.
