The Sala Ríos Reyna
of the Teresa Carreño Theater will open its doors this Friday, November 21,
to host the concert “Jesús Sevillano sings at Christmas”, which
will be held with completely free admission starting at 4:00 in the afternoon.
This was announced by
the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, through his Telegram
channel, in which he extended the invitation to the People to enjoy
this musical encounter.
“Come with your whole
family to enjoy the concert 'Jesús Sevillano sings at Christmas',”
he said, recalling that this new function comes after the resounding success of
his recent performance at El Sistema, where he filled the room with a concert
that honors the musical traditions of Venezuelan Christmas and celebrates the country's rich sound.
The recital
will include the participation of the National Typical Orchestra and the
Vicente Emilio Sojo Chamber Choir, under the musical direction of Yolanda Aranguren. Also present as special guests
will be Maestro Ángel Rengifo Mendoza in
the choral direction and the pianist Chuchito Sanoja, who will accompany the repertoire of the outstanding Venezuelan interpreter.
