Congressmen and social leaders from Mexico express their support for Cuba, Palestine and Venezuela

Deputies of the Mexican Congress, parliamentary blocs and social movements of the Aztec nation, spoke out against the threats, blockades and siege against Cuba and Venezuela, and the genocide being perpetrated by Israel against the People of Palestine with the support of US imperial bombs.

During a massive Solidarity Forum held in the Chamber of Deputies in Mexico City, the participants expressed their repudiation of the violation of international law by the U.S. and Israeli governments, as well as demanding the cessation of aggressions against the peoples who suffer these actions that violate human rights.

“We must denounce the American empire, it's urgent and necessary, because we realize that it is the enemy. It's the elegantly misnamed empire. The United States, together with Israel, are the enemy,” warned Irma Nava, a representative of the Mexican movements, who shared her reasons for being present at this official activity of the Mexican Congress.

He affirmed that Mexicans are hurt by what is happening in Palestine and the threats of the imperial government to sovereign nations in this part of the world, and that is why they embrace Venezuelans, Cubans and Palestinians through the organization of acts of solidarity, raising their voices for the self-determination of peoples who defend their sovereignty such as Venezuela, Cuba and Palestine.

“So, as we say, defending Venezuela, Cuba and Palestine is also defending Mexico and we have to raise our voices because against this media wall that we have, making these forums for reporting, but also informing why it is necessary to denounce and ask for action.”

In addition, other participants in the parliamentary forum, including deputies Pedro Vásquez and José Luis Sánchez, who were forceful in their assessments:

“Undoubtedly, we are unrestrictedly supporting these combative peoples of Venezuela, Palestine and Cuba, because the empire is not only damaging them, it is also affecting Mexico, because we are very close to the United States, and of course we resist, and we resist against threats from the United States,” said Vásquez.

“The American empire is insatiable, and it will always seek to control countries and markets, but I believe that the dignity and struggle of peoples will allow them not to get away with it,” added the Mexican parliamentarian.

For his part, Deputy Sánchez warned that the United States and its imperial regime is the same one that stole from Mexico and now supports the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

“It is the same one that touched us, stole half of our territory and even invaded us and placed its flag in an obscene way in the National Palace; it is the one that imposed a criminal blockade on Cuba and who is now carrying out a work of extermination against the Palestinian people and intends to subdue Venezuela with a blockade and military intervention,” he stressed.

Faced with this historical reality, he concluded with a message to all the peoples attacked and persecuted by this decadent empire:

“We say that we are part of humanity, of the great Homeland, our North is the South and that is why we are with you because what you do to Palestine, Venezuela and Cuba is done to the Mexican people and to all the children of José Martí, Simón Bolívar, as well as to the children of Hidalgo, Suárez, Zapata and de Villa,” he said.
