The first lady of the Republic and member of the National Assembly, Cilia Flores, expressed her solidarity with the families of Venezuelan migrants kidnapped in El Salvador and the United States (USA), especially the two-year-old Maikelys Espinoza, who was taken from her mother's arms by authorities in the North American country.

During the big Labor Day march, Flores celebrated that the working class joined this just struggle “for the rescue and liberation of the girl Maikelys. It's a noble cause,” he said.

“She's a baby, she was snatched from her arms, now she's suffering in solitude, without a family. From drum to drum they carry her there in the United States, having a family, a mother, a grandmother who is also here, who accompanies us. Where in the world can we see a government taking a mother's child without justification, without trial, without a judge?” , questioned the first female combatant.

He criticized that the American authorities “had no mercy or mercy to take this girl, this baby from her mother's arms. But today, in this great mobilization that we have seen, this support from the beautiful, beautiful and supportive people of Venezuela, this working people, are telling this mother and grandmother that they are not alone. Here are all the women of the Fatherland, the mothers and grandmothers who take this fight as our own,” she said.

Flores confirmed his confidence that President Nicolás Maduro will do everything possible to reconnect Maikelys with his mother, and “sooner rather than later, as the president said, that girl will be here in Venezuela in the arms of her mother from where she should never have been separated.”
