The candidate, Tania Díaz, said that it is outrageous to see how María Corina Machado rejoices at the measure taken by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to revoke the license that had been given to Chevron to operate in Venezuela.
“He rejoices because he says that this measure is going to be like taking oxygen away from the Venezuelan government,” said Díaz, during his program Sin Truco Ni Maña, which is broadcast on Radio Nacional de Venezuela (RNV).
In that sense, he said that after what we Venezuelans have experienced, we know what such a declaration means from the United States, and that is why not only are we rejecting it, but we will continue to stand up, fighting.
“The Venezuelan people are active, we overcome all those agendas of violence, we won this battle and we won it with love, with work, with dignity and with strength,” he said.
In addition, the deputy affirmed that Venezuela is taking steps forward and that is what they are trying to prevent us from moving forward and that Venezuela becomes the power it should be, because we have not won them.
