Private industrial production in Venezuela grew by 5.2% during the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, said the president of the Venezuelan Confederation of Industrialists (CONINDUSTRIA), Tito López.

In its account on the social network Instagram, CONINDUSTRIA, points out that the data are those recorded by the CONINDUSTRIA Statistical Information System (SIEC), obtained from industrialists, through the Industrial Economic Situation Survey for the third quarter of 2025 (ECI-III 25), indicate that private industrial production grew by 5.2% compared to the same period in 2024, reflecting the growth of domestic manufacturing.

The figures also show that the volume of production in the third quarter was 4.3% in July, -0.3% in August, and 12.1% in September.

López specified that 37% of private manufacturing companies estimate that their production will rise for the next quarter. He also noted that the confidence index stood at 11.6%, remaining in positive territory.

He recalled that, as indicated in previous reports, the manufacturing industry has installed infrastructure which, although its use has been increasing, is still far from operating under optimal conditions.

He stated that when investigating the most important problems affecting the industry, out of a range of 25 problems, industrialists must choose the five in order of importance that they consider to be the most pressing.

According to the data analysis, the main factors affecting private manufacturing production are, first of all, the exchange rate differential (76%), the macroeconomic environment (74%), followed by the lack of availability of foreign exchange (73%).

Also noteworthy are excessive fiscal and parafiscal taxes (68%), in fourth place; in fifth place the lack of funding (49%). While in sixth place, the low national demand stands out (41%).
