CONVIASA activated cargo transportation between Caracas and Los Roques

The Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services (CONVIASA), through its subsidiary Emtrasur, activated cargo transportation between Caracas and the Los Roques Archipelago, with the purpose of facilitating the supply and transfer of merchandise for the population and service providers, to promote tourism and commerce in the region.

These operations materialized after the signing of the strategic alliance between the Southern Air Transport Company (Emtrasur); the National Cargo Logistics and Transportation Corporation, Corpologística and the Iglesias Transport Airline, ATI. With this agreement, they will provide air and ground services, from acceptance, handling, loading and unloading, as well as transfer.

The Let 410 aircraft has a capacity of 5,700 kg, which allows the movement of general and perishable cargo, live animals, construction items, dangerous goods, and others.

In this regard, Emtrasur will offer two flights per day on Wednesdays and Thursdays, which will be gradually increased, whose service can be requested by calling 0412-5672879, 0416-6153550 and 0416-6153584.
