CONVIASA and Laser Airlines continue their domestic and international flight operations (+US)

The Venezuelan airlines Consorcio Venezolano de Industrias Aeronautics and Air Services (CONVIASA), Estelar Latin America and Laser Airlines reported that they are continuing their domestic and international flight operations.

In a statement released on social networks, CONVIASA reported that all of its flights, both on domestic and international routes, are running with absolute normality.

Laser Airlines also informed its users and the public that its air operations, both domestic and international, are being carried out as scheduled.

The announcement was made by the airlines following a warning from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) about increased military activity in the Caribbean.

Among foreign airlines, the Spanish Air Europa and the Panamanian Copa Airlines continue to fly to Venezuela, the TASS agency reported.

For their part, six foreign airlines canceled their flights to Venezuela, including the Brazilian GOL, the Spanish Iberia, the Colombian Avianca, the Portuguese TAP, the Chilean Latam, the Trinidadian Caribbean and the Turkish airline Turkish Airlines canceled their flights to Caracas from November 24 to 28.
