In order to ensure continuity of service and optimize electrical infrastructure in the state of Zulia, the working class of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out an operational deployment for the technical adaptation of the Central-Veritas Line- 2 to 24 kV, the Ministry of People's Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE) reported on its website.
The maneuvers included the preventive replacement of components, in order to ensure the correct operation of the line.
In addition, vegetation control work was carried out in electrical corridors and along the entire trajectory of the line. This forestry intervention prevents the contact of vegetation with the wiring.
The approach included the modernization of surge protection systems, through the replacement of lightning rods at the ends of the Central and Veritas Substations.
In the same way, terminal cups were installed at the entry and exit points to reinforce the power connections between the two infrastructures.
