Through a joint effort, the Mayor's Office of Maracaibo, together with the Government of Zulia, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) and the People's Power delivered 150 transformers to the 18 parishes of the state's capital.
The mayor of Maracaibo, Giancarlo Di Martino, reported that this delivery is thanks to the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, and to the governor of the state, Luis Caldera, who will compensate to a significant extent the requests that have been made through the VenApp and the situations that occurred as a result of the electrical storms, recorded last Sunday, which caused fallen trees and poles.
For her part, the director of Electrical Affairs of the municipality, Aurimar Cordero, stated that this distribution of transformers begins with the installation of the first 25, which correspond to the parishes of Cristo de Aranza, Manuel Dagnino, Coquivacoa, Santa Lucía, Venancio Pulgar, Idelfonso Vásquez, Raúl Leoni, and Francisco Eugenio Bustamante.
