CORPOELEC carried out maintenance work at three Barinas substations

In order to guarantee energy transmission to more than 320,000 inhabitants of the state of Barinas, workers from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out preventive and corrective work at the Peña Largar, Barinas IV and Toreño substations.

According to a press release from CORPOELEC, the technical and operational maneuvers included the correction of hot spots, adjustment of SF6 gas levels, measurements, lubrication of moving parts, replacement of components, screw adjustments and inspections of power equipment.

These actions, included in the maintenance plans promoted by the Ministry for Electric Energy (MPPEE), favor users in the municipalities Capital, Cruz Paredes, Alberto Arvelo Torrealba, Rojas, Sosa, Bolívar, and others.
