CORPOELEC carried out preventive maintenance on power grids in Mérida

In order to strengthen distribution networks in Mérida, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carries out scheduled work for the revision and replacement of medium and high voltage equipment, with the purpose of providing stability to the electrical system in the Andean entity.
In this regard, the CORPOELEC crews carried out a day of preventive and corrective maintenance on the circuit of Avenida 16 de Septembre, benefiting the communities of the Domingo Peña parish and the Instituto Autonomo Hospital Universitario de Los Andes (IAHULA).
According to a press release, with these actions, the state power company is moving forward with plans to strengthen the electrical service, with the change of disconnectors, bridges and the installation of new connectors at the 13.8 KV level.
