The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) deployed crews of workers on the Altos Mirandinos axis to correct faults in the electrical distribution network, caused by heavy rainfall on October 7.
The natural event caused trees to fall on the power lines, which required lines to be held back and reconnected
In the same way, the operators reduced basements of the underground network, replaced and corrected structures and components, while reviewing power equipment and carrying out operational tests on the San Antonio A06 and B01, Carrizal B01 and B02, Barbecho A01, A08 and B03 circuits, according to a press release from CORPOELEC.
CORPOELEC, with support from the regional government, progressively restored electricity service in the Colinas de Carrizal, El Golf, Mérida sectors, the industrial area of La Carbonera, El Limón in the Pan de Azúcar residential area and other communities in the municipalities of Los Salias, Guaicaipura and Carrizal.
