The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) is implementing a plan for preventive maneuvers in various transmission substations to strengthen the system in the eastern region. These actions ensure the continuity and quality of
service for more than 300,000 inhabitants of the state of Monagua.
The technical approach includes specialized thermographic inspections, which use infrared technology to detect heat spots in power equipment in a timely manner. According to information provided by the Ministry of Electric Energy, these evaluations make it possible to correct possible faults before they affect the supply.
The crews have successfully completed the work at the Maturín, Boulevard, La Paz, El Parque, San Jaime and Juana La Avanzadora substations. In addition, attention was extended to the Travieso, Furrial, Muscar and Santa Bárbara facilities to ensure their proper operational functioning.
The systematic application of these high-tech tools increases the efficiency of the state's transmission network. With these maneuvers, the electric entity seeks to offer a more stable, reliable and secure service provision for the direct benefit of all users in the area.
Finally, the deployment of specialists is part of the ongoing programming to optimize the national energy infrastructure. These thermal inspections represent a fundamental step in the modernization of supervision protocols within high-voltage electrical installations.
