CORPOELEC made improvements to highway lighting in La Guaira

Technical personnel from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) installed 261 300 W LED luminaires in the state of La Guaira, as part of the Expressway Lighting Plan.

According to a press release from CORPOELEC, among the tasks carried out were the rehabilitation and replacement of public lighting lines and the installation of 11 new poles, as well as cleaning the tanks and repairing the connections that were in poor condition due to the saltpeter due to the proximity to the sea.

In addition, three control boxes were installed to strengthen the public lighting system and provide greater security to road users in the parishes of Urimare, Carlos Soublette, Maiquetía, La Guaria and Naiguatá.
