Through the Vegetation Programming and Control Management (PCV), the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out weeding days at the main electrical substations in the state of Nueva Esparta, which guarantees a safe electrical service to more than 100,000 inhabitants.
The work was carried out at the Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi thermoelectric plants, located in the Mariño and Juan Bautista Arismendi municipalities, in the Tubores municipality, as well as at the Conejeros, Morropo and Aricagua substations. In addition to contributing to the safety of electrical infrastructure, pruning minimizes the risks of service interruption, especially during the rainy season in the island region, according to a press release from the state power company.
In this way, the state power company reaffirms its commitment to providing an electric service with social sense and ecological balance for the Venezuelan people.
