CORPOELEC reinforces system in Cumana, Sucre state

With the purpose of benefiting more than 8,000 families in the Valentín Valiente parish in the city of Cumaná, in the state of Sucre, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) is carrying out a series of maneuvers to strengthen the electrical service of the airport circuit associated with the Cumaná III substation in the eastern entity.

Through a press release, the Ministry of People's Power for Electric Energy reported that these actions make it possible to strengthen electricity service in the Cantarrana communities, Santa Elena Town House, Santa Eduviges, Hugo Chávez Frías Urbanization, as well as the Antonio José de Sucre International Airport, located in the Sucre municipality.

The work was carried out with the support of HIDROCARIBE personnel who carried out the deep cleaning and maintenance of sewage and drainage, using a high-power water pressure system to unclog the pipes and suck up sludge and waste.
