CORPOELEC teams carry out maintenance on the Cable Car Circuit in Mérida

Crews from the National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out
a day of preventive and corrective maintenance responsible for servicing the electricity
service throughout the historic center of the capital of Merida.
On
this occasion, the work was carried out at the facilities of the Barinitas Distribution
Yard, located on the “Mucumbarí” Cable Car in
Mérida, where equipment was changed, in addition to the adjustment and
cleaning of the disconnectors, details a press release from the power station.
With these actions in favor of the National Electricity
System (SEN), CORPOELEC
efficiently guarantees electricity supply to the main tourist attraction of
the Andean region, such as the Mérida Cable Car and all the
sectors that make up the city center, for the benefit of
8,000 inhabitants, in addition to the seasonal ones who live a permanent life, in the tourist and student city of Venezuela.
