CORPOELEC Technical Committee evaluates strategic projects to optimize the SEN

With the purpose of strengthening the operation of the National Electric System (SEN) and improving management processes, an extraordinary session of the Technical Committee for Analysis and Decision-making of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) is being held in the Hugo Chávez Hall of the headquarters of the Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE), in Caracas.

The activity, led by the head of Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, and the president of CORPOELEC, José Luis Betancourt, was attended by vice-ministers and presidents of entities attached to the MPPEE. In addition, general managers, managers and specialists from the core areas of the state electricity sector participate, such as: generation, transmission, distribution and commercialization of energy.

According to a press release from CORPOELEC, during the meeting, the authorities discuss strategies focused on consolidating continuous improvements for the provision of electricity service and evaluate the corrective and preventive maneuvers carried out in the country's electrical infrastructure, as well as the progress of projects.
