CORPOZULIA activates first white wine production tests in Mara

The president of CORPOZULIA, Néstor Luis Reverol, reported that the Mara municipality will manufacture white wine from the state of Zulia.

“We are testing this white wine, made in the Mara municipality in the state of Zulia and it is a pleasant surprise to find promising crops in an area little known for its grape production. This initiative will mark a milestone in viticulture in the entity, because there is a very intense work behind all this effort,” Reverol reported, quoted in a regional press release.

He added that in the area there are grape varieties such as Malvasia, Tempranillo and Shiraz, traditionally associated with renowned wine regions that came together in the Mara municipality.
