CPNB arrested three people for the crime of extortion in Aragua

‎Efectivos of the Aragua State Anti-Kidnapping and Extortion Division, attached to the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB), arrested three citizens allegedly involved in the crime of extortion in flagrante delicto, according to information from the Ministry of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP).

‎De according to the entity, the procedure was carried out in front of the Metropolitan Park, in the extension of Aragua Avenue.

‎ “The police action was carried out in coordination with the Sixth Office of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of the State of Aragua, after receiving complaints warning about the actions of a structured organized crime group,” the Ministry reported.

‎Se learned that preliminary investigations showed that the detainees had repeatedly demanded various sums of money from the victim, under direct threats to their physical integrity.
