Crack! Salomón Rondón scored the qualifying goal for Pachuca in the quarterfinals of the Clausura

Vinotinto's top scorer, Salomón Rondón, scored the winning goal for Pachuca and qualified him to the quarterfinals of the Mexican League Clausura Tournament.

In the 87th minute, the Venezuelan broke the 1-1 tie and put definitive figures in the match in favor of the Tuzos 2-1 over Monterrey.

Rondón was named the Best Player of the Match and in statements to the media he said he was very grateful and praised the work of all the players. “Without them this would not have been possible, we are a group, a family,” he said.

“Congratulations to all my teammates, they gave 200% because these types of games are played that way,” said Rondón.

Pachuca's next challenge will be against Mexico's America, in a series of back and forth games.
