Craft Exhibition “Viento En Popa” will close cycle at the GAN this Saturday

Next Saturday, January 20, the closing of the exhibition “Viento en Popa” will be held in the spaces of the National Art Gallery (GAN), starting at 2:00pm.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the closing of the exhibition, which includes 190 pieces referring to the Bicentennial of the Battle of Lake Maracaibo, will be in charge of the Deputy Minister of Arts, Image and Space, Mary Pemjean, who will be accompanied by artisans and artisans.

In addition, it is significant to highlight that for this closing, the Red Art Foundation, an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, plans to carry out cultural activities to close a cycle of victories in this exhibition chapter for Venezuelan crafts.

Recall that within the framework of this exhibition, which opened in September 2023 at the GAN, more than 30 activities were also held, including guided tours, forums, talks with the protagonists, who shared their impressions when they saw their art in these spaces for culture.
