Creole gymnast Jimena Domínguez is ranked among the three best gymnasts in South America

Venezuelan gymnast Jimena Domínguez finished as the third best representative in South America at the 42nd World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, held in Frankfurt, Germany.

According to the sports press review, the athlete's activity is part of her preparation and competitive evaluation process for the XIII South American Games Santa Fe 2026, to be held from September 12 to 26 in Argentina.

Domínguez finished 76th in the All-Around, with a cumulative total score of 63,450, after completing her performances on all four devices, a participation that allowed her to rank as the third best gymnast in South America, behind Brazil's Bárbara Domingos with 82,300 points and Argentina's Celeste D'Arcangelo with 71,550.

In the hoop she scored 22,200 points; for the second ball, the Venezuelan scored 19,400 points, while in the third club she reached 20,600 points, and finished in the fourth tape machine with a record of 20,650 points.

After his performance, Domínguez expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to compete and continue to grow as an athlete.
