The Republic of Cuba condemned the attack on the Consulate General of Venezuela in Lisbon, Portugal, said the foreign minister of the Antillean nation, Bruno Rodríguez.
Through the social network X, Rodríguez described the attack as terrorists while stressing Cuba's commitment against these actions.
In this regard, he called on the international community to act “firmly against those who promote and finance these actions”.
The conviction comes after complaints by the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Yván Gil, about similar actions against other of his diplomatic offices in different countries.
It is important to note that, in the last few hours, the Government of Venezuela has also reported attacks against other of its consular offices in various parts of the world, including Frankfurt (Germany), Medellín (Colombia), Vigo (Spain) and San José (Costa Rica), according to a note from Venezuela News.
