“The swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro Moros represented an historic day for the Great Homeland,” said Marxlenin Pérez, professor of philosophy and presenter of Cuban Television, who participated in the International Antifascist Festival: For a New World.

The Cuban social fighter, in statements to the Con El Mazo Dando team, added that “with the swearing in, democracy triumphed, since the appropriation that is being tried to make with the Peoples in Revolution, such as Venezuela, Cuba and other Peoples who are trying to move forward in a new democracy.”

“Imperialism is not going to keep its hands crossed and is making a waste of putting people who are trying to get rid of that burden that is imperialism,” Pérez warned.

In the context of the communication attack, the Cuban presenter stressed that “through social networks and digital media, it can be seen that Venezuela is a target par excellence and in that sense a struggle is under way.”

“Through the class struggle, they are trying to subdue the Peoples and Venezuela in this whole war,” he said, adding that in the face of fascism, Peoples like Palestine are still fighting to win “to win and to have their rights respected.”

Regarding the media show by María Corina Machado and Edmundo González, he asserted that they work in the idiotization industry, in addition to working together with the North American empire that seeks to destroy the peoples that rise up in struggle.

“The people of Venezuela know where they are going... It is truly resplendent and in that sense he has bet everything hand in hand with freedom and justice, on the dignity and ideas of the liberators,” Pérez stressed.
