Cultivators from Ocumare de la Costa promote Cultura Produce Textile Plan with sublimation and tailoring workshop

With the objective of consolidating sustainability, production and the strengthening of local identities, the Sublimation and Clothing Workshop was held within the framework of the Cultura Produce Textile Plan of the government of Aragua , aimed at providing practical design and self-management tools to the members of the group Danzas Imágenes from Ocumare de la Costa de Oro.

The activity, organized by Glendys Arévalo, coordinator of the aforementioned dance group, was developed under the premise of the Cultura Produce Textile Plan, a day designed to provide art lovers and makers with technical skills that allow them to make their own costumes and optimize their creative resources.

The boys and girls who were members of the dance group participated in the activity, who sublimated garments after receiving instructions on how to perform them.

The activity also included the participation of the director of culture of Ocumare de la Costa de Oro, Luis Lovera, who thanked the logistical support of the mayor, Wilmer Leal, as well as the constant encouragement of the entity's Secretary of Culture, Nicolás González.

“We are grateful and happy to have carried out this process, which we are sure will be the first of many to consolidate a model where art, tradition and the productive apparatus advance together to guarantee cultural and community growth in every corner of the state,” said Lovera.
