The president of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana (CVG), Héctor Silva, and the governor of the state of Amazonas, Miguel Rodríguez, signed an agreement to start plantations in San Fernando de Atabapo and reactivate latex production.

The information was released by the CVG through a post on its social networks, in which it highlighted that the effort is designed to obtain raw materials destined for multiple industrial uses, ensuring a minimum environmental impact.

Through these initiatives, the CVG reinforces its commitment to the preservation and strengthening of the biodiversity and ecosystems of the world's great lung, promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
