The Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana (CVG) celebrates the recovery of the Barquisimeto Plant of the National Steel Complex (CSN), with an installed capacity of 120,000 metric tons per year (TM/year), thanks to the efforts and commitment of the working class.

During a recent inspection, led by the president of the CSN, Cnel. Danny Rafael Parada Yelamo, highlighted the progress in the recovery of the productive process, reflecting the commitment of the industrial sector to strengthening the national economy.

The plant, supervised by the CVG, transforms raw materials such as billets into finished products in high demand, including beams (IPN, UPL), angles and plates of various sizes. These products are intended to meet the needs of the domestic market and diversify the Venezuelan economy.

In this context, the workers stated: “In the face of any sanction, more real production”. This motto reflects the resilience of the working class, which has not only reactivated the plant, but also works with a vision of the future to guarantee the quality and continuity of production.
