The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, condemned this Monday the acts of extreme right-wing violence following the elections last Sunday, July 28.
“They tried, through violence, to attack the Miraflores Palace on the 29th, because of the violence they burned health centers, police modules, transportation, they murdered fellow officers of the Bolivarian National Guard and some compatriots, they persecuted the leadership of the PSUV and have threatened in every way,” he said during the PSUV press conference.
In this regard, he denounced that due to the massive use of social networks, “we are in the presence of the crudest cyberfascism and technofascism, which is the use of networks to generate fear, persecution, impose matrices of opinion and take for granted things that have never happened,” he said.
“Terrible expressions of hate have been generated through networks against leaders and their communities,” he said.
