Former presidential candidate Daniel Ceballos questioned the veracity of the website used by the extreme right to spread false rumors about the presidential election held on Sunday, July 28.
After his appearance in the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Ceballos downplayed the website announced by the extreme right wing María Corina Machado because it lacked “absolute and total transparency”.
The former candidate for the Arepa party indicated that “we all know how you can modify a file, we all know how you can edit a photo”, while specifying that the priority is not a web page parallel to the National Electoral Council, but “the institution and the Venezuelan State”.
He also called on Venezuelans to be realistic and not allow others to decide the future of the nation.
“I question the political actors who today are announcing fraud and later we will see them running for candidates in the same CNE to seek votes, in tremendous contradiction,” he said.
