Daniel Farías will not continue to command Estudiantes de Mérida

The board of directors of Estudiantes de Mérida announced the departure of Technical Director, Daniel Farías.

In a statement, published on its social networks, the club explained that the conclusion of the contract was by mutual agreement and in cordial terms.

They also thanked Farías for his dedication, professionalism and hard work during his time leading the Merida team.

“This decision was taken in an environment of respect and mutual understanding, seeking the best for both parties,” the document states.

In addition, they wished Professor Farias every success in his future professional projects.

The club reported that in the coming days, they will announce the steps to be taken in appointing the new coaching staff that will take over the reins of the team.

“We reiterate our commitment to the fans and we will continue working with the same passion and dedication to bring Estudiantes de Mérida to the positions they deserve in sports,” he said.
