The two matches that were played at the start of day 3 of the Final Phase of the 2026 Apertura Tournament culminated in 1-1 draws.

The match that took place at the Pueblo Nuevo stadium, between Deportivo Táchira and Metropolitanos FC ended 1-1, the Uruguayan Rodrigo Pollero opened the score in favor of the locals in the 51st minute, however, 10 minutes later the Argentinian Agustín Bianciotti equalized the score.

With that same result, the match between UCV FC and Deportivo La Guaira, at the Olympic stadium in the capital city, ended with a goal scored by Colombian Juan Camilo Zapata in 52' for the locals and Argentinian Guillermo Ortiz in 90+4' for the visit.

These results allowed UCV and Metropolitanos to continue leading their respective groups, with 5 points each.

This Wednesday, the other two games of the date will be played: Carabobo FC vs Estudiantes de Mérida and Academia Puerto Cabello vs Portuguesa FC.
