In the Cristóbal Rojas municipality, in Miranda state, the collection of letters for the release of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, kidnapped by the United States on January 3, continues.

According to information issued by the mayor's office, this day takes place in Plaza Bolívar in the jurisdiction, where the people carry their letters demanding the presidential couple.

“Each embodied letter represents a message of heroic resistance and the unwavering ratification of the sons and daughters of the Valles del Tuy with the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez,” said Yuhismar Hernández, local mayor.

“Out of love and loyalty to President Nicolás Maduro, we continue to promote activities to support the return of our President and his wife,” Hernández added.
