Delcy Rodríguez: Africa will be the great engine of the wave of energy demand of the future

The Executive Vice President and Minister of the People's Power of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, said on Tuesday that “Africa will be the great engine of the wave of energy demand of the future,” so she called on the countries of the continent to work together with Venezuela, which is the country with the largest oil reserves on the planet.

“I call for us to work together as a single force, Africa and Venezuela, where organizations also serve as a link so that energy proposals, for the development of our peoples, in a sovereign way (...) are a single strategic objective for the future of our countries,” said Rodríguez during his participation in the conference the African Energy Week 2025.

In this regard, he urged us to pool capacities and “let us also join our hearts, but above all that common history that we have, Mother Africa, that is where we come from, we venerate you and with you together, Africa and Venezuela, we will march for the future”.
