The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, signed a decree appointing General Gustavo Enrique González López commander of the Presidential Honor Guard.

The official text specifies that González López will assume the functions corresponding to the position, in accordance with the current legal framework.

The measure will take effect as soon as it is published in the Official Gazette of the Republic, which gives immediate validity to the decision and activates its administrative effects.
