The executive vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, said that the fugitive from justice Juan Guaidó is responsible for the theft of Venezuelan assets abroad by the United States.
“Juan Guaidó allowed the plunder from Venezuela of more than 22 billion dollars in foreign accounts,” he stressed.
During the program Conversando con Correa, broadcast by the RT news outlet, Rodríguez emphasized that Guaidó allowed “the United States to steal CITGO, under the excuse that they do not recognize the authorities and institutions of Venezuela,” he said
He stressed that in the face of these brutal attacks orchestrated by the subversives of North American imperialism, the Bolivarian Government has made a gigantic effort to confront the blockade and unilateral coercive measures, according to a note from the Venezuela News agency.
“Venezuela stands up as an example that yes you can basically be independent of Washington's commands, that you can preserve the sovereignty of a country, with dignity and with historic morals,” he said.
He emphasized that the foreign policy of the North American Government is to implement coercive measures against democratic countries, with Russia having the most negative ordinances.
