Delcy Rodríguez: Plan for love and food distribution has delivered more than 158 thousand metric tons of food

More than 158,000 metric tons of food have been distributed across the country to benefit more than 5 million Venezuelan families, said the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

In statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión, from the Las Malvinas sector of El Valle, Rodríguez stressed that all this food distribution has been carried out through the plan of love and food prosperity created by President Nicolás Maduro, to ensure that the population has access to food.

“For 5 weeks, we have distributed 158,000 metric tons of food to 5 million families in Venezuela. We must highlight the productive union of Venezuela and the union between the public sector and the private sector,” he stressed while assuring that of the 37 products that make up the basic basket, 25 are being produced in the country.

In this regard, he highlighted that the mobile warehouses of the Ministry of Food, Mercal and Pedval have also been a fundamental part of achieving the aforementioned food distribution figure.

“I am sure that by next year 2026 we will write another great page for our history, for the independence and sovereignty of Venezuela,” he stressed.
